Thursday, 8 June 2023: “A Siren of Silence” — a reading and presentation of short films by American Poet Bob Holman — 7 p.m. at the Globe Bookstore and Cafe, Pštrossova 6, in Prague 1.
Saturday, 10 June 2023: “Exploding Text” — Bob Holman will lead a workshop on “Poetry in Performance” at 2 p.m. and at 8 p.m. he will show three of his short films. Both events take place at Club Salsita, Štefánikova 25, in Prague 5. The number of workshop participants will be limited, so contact office@moving-center.org to pre-register. The evening program will also include:
A live performance by Ukrainian dancer Anastasiia Revutska;
YouTube launch of Gone (8 minutes) — a performance of one of Allen Ginsberg’s last poems, directed by Michal Mecner;
The Ivy (4:30 minutes) — premier of a video poem by Lucien Zell.
